Objectives of the Position

Our product family Industrial Mobility delivers innovative solutions and enables the benefits of mobility for BASF production plants and warehouses worldwide. With our knowledge in digitalization, we provide mobile hardware, software platforms and applications tailored for the use in the production, logistics and environment.

With our global platform and app development, we support our internal business partners end-to-end. From the early stages of solution design and development to roll-out and ongoing service. Managing and further improving of numerous applications and backend systems is a key delivery of our product team. New technologies and innovations as well as sophisticated customer requests are the drivers of our continuous development.

Job Responsibilities

• You elaborate and develop customized solutions to foster new potentials for Industrial Mobility within BASF
• Working together with the stakeholders on site and in close collaboration with our team of solution engineers you ensure differentiated services fit for purpose for the local and regional demands
• You focus on requirement engineering, solution design and implementation of mobile applications based on our global platforms
• As part of a global product team you work closely with our low and pro code developers and our platform team to ensure high quality solution and stable operations of our services
• With your experience you are able to identify potentials of digital solutions and evaluation of innovations and new mobile technologies with respect to their added value and scalability for our end user

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor or Master degree in relevant computer science or information technology studies with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong experience in business consulting, requirement engineering and design of mobile applications or comparable solutions
• Know how in low code platforms like Power Apps, Outsystems or Work Tasks
• Experience in data modelling, databases, and reporting (SQL, SSRS, Power PI)
• Experience in application testing and security fundamentals for mobile applications
• Background and experience in Android and or web application development, micro services or system integration would be an advantage
• Team player with strong demonstration and communication skills
• Communication skills in English.
• You are keen on innovations in digitalization and mobile technology
