Our diverse and high-performing team comprises people from more than 60 nationalities, and we welcome all experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Specialist, Marketplace Operations (Shops) to join our fast-growing Marketplace team based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. This role will be reporting to Lead, Operations & Performance (SGMY) in the Q-Commerce, Marketplace department. The department generally is responsible for driving the success of our retail brand partner.Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and solve problems by analyzing large and complex data sets to derive insights, trends, and performance metrics, improving marketplace operations and driving decision-making.
  • Conduct tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the effectiveness of proposed improvements.
  • Build and present reports and dashboards to track performance KPIs, enhance operations, ensure compliance, and elevate customer experience.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis to spot problems in marketplace operations, present findings visually, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to identify inefficiencies, develop optimization strategies, and streamline requests, ensuring clear reporting through dashboards.
  • Lead projects focused on operational improvements, aligning with operational and financial goals.
  • Design and implement new metrics across the business to improve marketplace performance.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making and business solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in STEM, or any other relevant field of study.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in operations, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace, though other industries are welcome.
  • Experience in data analysis, and reporting, with a passion for working with large and complex datasets.
  • Proactive and able to lead projects independently, with a willingness to question the status quo when needed.
  • Structured and target-oriented in project execution and analysis.
  • Team player with the ability to fit into the company culture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
  • Knowledge of Looker Studio (Google Data Studio), SQL, Google Colab, and Tableau is a plus.
  • Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/tech environments preferred.
  • Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills. Ability to speak other languages is a plus.
