The department is responsible for overseeing vendor program strategy, project execution, and implementation. By delivering strategic solutions to the commercial team, foodpanda enhances support, visibility, and growth for our vendors, ensuring they consistently generate revenue for their businesses.About the Role
We are looking for a Specialist, Vendor Operations to be based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. This role will be reporting to the Manager, Vendor Operations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Grow performance metrics of long tail accounts including operations, commercial performance, internal tools, systems, and any other special projects.
  • Improve vendor performance by preparing and leading strategic projects.
  • Launch moonshots with insights and recommendations into vendor behavior to ensure higher efficacy of initiatives and future roadmap development.
  • Ability to work with different teams (inter and intra-department) to ensure smooth vendor journey and high quality of vendor experience within the platform.
  • Accurate and timely reporting and resolution of issue resolution and key operational results.
  • Give detailed attention, oversee and drive program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation..
Requirements:
  • Quantitative mindset & proven analytic capabilities. Should be able to collect, organize, analyze a significant amount of information accurately.
  • Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets knowledge, with the ability to create and manage basic formulas, charts, etc. (SQL is a plus).
  • Knowledge in Google Workspace and MS Office is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and capable of executing and following through on projects.
  • Highly motivated and excellent team player.
  • Self-Leadership through being proactive and independent.
  • A fast learner who is adaptable to various project initiatives, preferably with a demonstrated background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/tech environments.
  • Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the workforce (E-commerce is a plus).
  • Proven track record of personal, academic and professional achievements.
  • Willingness to learn and curious to explore ways to improve the operational performance of vendors.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and concepts to stakeholders and the management team through clear and effective communication.
