Company DescriptionSika was first established in Malaysia in 1989 and full operations commenced in 1991 through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd, with the completion of its local head office and production plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Since then, the company has gained a leading position in the country with the acceptance and endorsement of its products for construction and industrial applications by local and international proponents.In the Construction sector, our business activities cover the full spectrum of project types ranging from infrastructural development to buildings, from institutional facilities to manufacturing plants. We service our direct customers \xe2\x80\x93 concrete producers, contractors and distributors \xe2\x80\x93 and stay close to them through our central sales & marketing office in Petaling Jaya and a network of sales offices in Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. In 2014 our presence in the Malaysian construction continued to grow when our Ipoh Plant was built and running to meet customer demands.In Malaysia, our Industry Division is the clear market leader in the automotive glass replacement sector (AGR) and the \xe2\x80\x9cSikaflex\xe2\x80\x9d brand is instantly recognized as a mark for quality, reliability and performance. In the automotive OEM sector, we are the approved supplier to top German car markets such as Mercedes Benz and BMW. Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components.Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.

• To increase the number of specifications of Sika products in tender documents produced by engineers, architects and other Specifiers through professional specifications and Value Selling of Sika products and systems.
• To expand Market Share
• To build a strong foundation and relation with specifiers.
• To systematically approach all consulting engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and statutory boards to successfully sell technical specifications of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s product lines.
• Responsible in preparing the technical documentation and drawings (specifier guide, general specification, proposal and specification drawing) for submission and technical consultation purpose.
• Generation of specifications of Company\xe2\x80\x99s products lines for inclusion in tender documents produced by Architects, Engineers, and other Specifiers
• To maintain and increase the Company\xe2\x80\x99s profile, and to promote our competitive advantage to Architects, Engineers, and other Specifiers.
• Collect and pass on appropriate market information (upcoming projects, activities of the competition, project references, trends, etc)
• To develop business opportunities and nurture relationship with specifiers

• Diploma or Degree preferably in Building Lines (Arch, QS, C&S Engineers, Project Management)
• Min 5 Years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or local dialects would be an added advantage
• Intermediate Level computer skills including power point presentation, excel spreadsheet and AutoCAD applications will be an added advantage
• Effective interpersonal skills, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills, having the ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
• Self-motivated and self- initiative
• Able to travel when required
