We are currently seeking an experienced Specification Specialist at Lysaght Shah Alam. Specification Specialist lays the groundwork to acquire customers and support clients throughout the sales process. As a Specification Specialist, you will: Carry out the specification activities and consultative value selling for Lysaght products and solutions in the construction projects identified. Follow up on project leads and follow through until the Main-Con appointment, before hand over the project to sales team Organise and carry out technical talks and presentations to the project stakeholders, including but not limited to Architects, consultants, engineers (AEC) , Quantity surveyors (QS) and building owners. Build strong and trustworthy relationship with project value chain members such as designers/architects, contractors and project owners/developers. Promote and upsell the premium tier products and best solutions for the projects whenever possible, and follow up closely on project leads to mitigate and prevent specification conversion Support the Technical Solution Manager to be the Subject Mater Expert (SME) of the assigned project /constriction sub-segment(s), Support The Technical Solution Manager to work with internal stakeholders to develop, promote and share the best practise, solutions and service offers needed by the sub-segment(s). Communicate market insights, sub-segments and project needs to the marcom, technical and product development team, for branding, product development and innovation opportunities to support business growth. Requirements: Bachelor degree in civil engineering is preferred At least 5 years\' experience as specifier/ specification specialist, key account manager Experience in consultative selling will be an added advantage, but not a pre-requisite. Experience in Building & Construction Industry will be an added advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
