SUMMARY OF THE ROLECreate samples and attend to application requests of paint system as requested by sales/marketing and support sales and customers for training on application techniques and dealers shop decoration.This position will be based at Shah Alam office and reporting to Specification Manager.Responsibilities:Apply specific application and sample requests in a timely manner.Assist TSM with application training.Maintain adequate application materials stock inventory levels and keep application workshops in good and safe working conditions.Handle on-site/off-site demonstrations and applications according to schedules.Respond to Technical Service Manager/Interior Designer requests related to technical services issues.Replenish demonstration and application consumable items in coordination with TSM and maintain a healthy working environment.Visit sites and projects to exhibit special paint techniques.Visit branch offices and regional companies as and when required for special projects or designing MC shops.Help the sales and marketing department to design and paint new MC shops with new paint techniques.Assist marketing and sales department during special campaigns.Support shops with the latest designs by preparing applied paint samples to display them to our customers.Adhere to the HSE regulations and Jotun standards by using the PPEs required for performing the different activities in order to ensure a safe working environment.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERQualifications:Diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.Experience in Construction Building industry will be an added advantage.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Proficient in verbal and written English.Teamwork mindset.Require to carry heavy Paint Cans based on projects\' requirements.Personal Qualities:Acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results.Uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively.Creates a stable and re-assuring work atmosphere; supports and encourages team in difficult times; is firm and reliable.Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.Adheres to company rules and procedures; executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high quality results.We offer:We are a fast-growing paint company with proven financial success.Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.Best-in-class paint products that are unparalleled in quality.We are a values-driven organization where Loyalty, Care, Respect and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany: Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
