Job Summary

The Speech Therapist plays a key role in supporting children with communication, language, and feeding challenges enrolled in Growin Sprouts' Early Intervention Program. The therapist will conduct individualized therapy sessions, collaborate with parents and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the overall development of each child's communication potential.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct

speech and language assessments

for children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, GDD, or other communication challenges. Develop and implement

individualized therapy plans

aligned with each child's needs and progress goals. Provide

1:1 sessions

, focusing on speech, language comprehension, articulation, fluency, and social communication. Collaborate closely with

Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, and Psychologists

to ensure holistic support. Maintain accurate

progress notes and therapy reports

for each child, updating parents and program staff regularly. Conduct

parent training sessions

or consultations to guide home-based follow-up activities. Participate in

team meetings

and contribute professional input on student progress or intervention strategies. Ensure compliance with

ethical and professional standards

in therapy delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree

in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (recognized by MDA / MASLP).

Registered and licensed

with the relevant Malaysian authority. Minimum 2

years of clinical or school-based experience

working with children. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage neurodivergent learners effectively. Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented professional attitude. Available for

flexible part-time hours

(weekday or weekend sessions).

Working Hours & Remuneration

Flexible scheduling based on client appointments. Compensation:

Per session / hourly rate

Pay: RM2,380.24 - RM5,015.11 per month
