).
Prepare detailed supplier qualification reports based on company standards to ensure new suppliers have the ability to consistently deliver high-quality products.
2. Full Lifecycle Supplier Quality Control
During the new product sample trial phase, closely monitor supplier production processes and lead process reviews to identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
Communicate improvement actions with suppliers to ensure samples meet design specifications and lay a solid foundation for mass production.
For high-risk component suppliers, implement
on-site supervision
when necessary to ensure end-to-end production quality.
Establish and maintain a closed-loop quality issue management system to handle quality problems arising from raw material inspection, production processes, and customer feedback.
Respond quickly to issues using tools such as
8D
and
5Why
, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive actions with clearly defined responsibilities and timelines.
Track implementation until problems are resolved to prevent recurrence and continuously improve supplier quality performance.
