We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor

to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the accounting team in resolving day-to-day operational issues. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records, systems, and controls. Ensure efficient cost accounting and timely financial reporting for analysis and budgeting. Compile and analyze financial data to prepare monthly and annual financial statements. Review debtors and creditors aging reports and participate in all credit review meetings. Liaise with external parties including banks, auditors, LHDN, Customs Department (Kastam), and other relevant authorities. Manage and ensure compliance with SST and withholding tax regulations. Prepare monthly financial management reports and management accounts. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements, and business plans. Undertake special assignments and ad hoc duties as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT industry. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Skilled in Microsoft Office and SQL Accounting Software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Proven leadership qualities with a results-driven mindset.
