Job Description

The Senior Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by managing key accounts within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. This position requires expertise in account management, client relationship building, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead business development efforts focused on revenue growth, lead generation, and strategic account expansion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including C-level executives and department heads, ensuring a high level of engagement and trust.
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalise on up selling and cross-selling opportunities for ICT solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - sales support, technical, and marketing - to deliver customised solutions that meet client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management.
  • Support the Head of Department in planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns and industry events.

We're looking for a candidate who brings:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the ICT or telecommunications industry, with a strong network and client-facing experience.
  • Proven success in managing strategic accounts, particularly in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors in Malaysia.
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field; a background in engineering, IT, or business is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT solutions and enterprise services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with high levels of initiative, execution, and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry engagements.
