Area Expertise and Skills

• ensure that all invoices from vendors are reviewed, processed and paid in compliance with applicable (internal) guidelines and procedures.
• follow up invoice approval if required
• processing payments via weekly payment run
• prepare manual payment vouchers if necessary
• obtain and verify required vendor information (new supplier form, etc.), create and keep vendor master records in SAP up-to-date
• reconcile the Accounts Payable sub-ledger, correct discrepancies, and handle internal and external inquiries concerning payment and account status
• processing of travel expenses in compliance with Renesas travel guidelines and tax regulations.
• performs other related duties as assigned
• ability to solve accounting problems and errors

• Candidate must possess a minimum Professional Certificate / Diploma in Accountancy or any professional accountancy body
• Candidate must possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting; AP preferred.
• Experience with SAP
• Candidate should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Candidate must possess good English communication skills.
• Candidate must possess intermediate excel skills
• Candidate should have at least minimum mix experience in general ledger functions, month-end close, international accounting and intercompany transactions
• Candidate should have a basic working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
