Position Summary Dexcom has recently re-vamped its Operations Training - Data & Analytics program and is looking for experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst professional to lead, grow, and develop Dexcom\'s first ever Global People & Performance Analytics community of excellence. This role will support the Operations Training Evaluation team and is responsible for creating, standardizing, delivering, and automating reports that provide key insights on our global performance development program. This includes developing performance measures, data collection, reporting, data visualizations and information dissemination. Your ability to perform analysis, extract key insights from multiple data sources, and tell the story with data will help us track key operational activities and success measurements. Above all else , the ideal candidate is curious, a self-starter, fast learner, and always thinks of the customer first. The Sr BI Analyst must have excellent analytical and technical skills to process and interpret data from multiple sources. This role requires an understanding of Training, Employee Performance , and Operations/Production data. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytics with key insight for the Global Operations Training Team Understand business objective and need with an ability to translate into technical requirements to achieve business goals Accurately analyze and collect internal and external data for various types of business reports to identify changes in business, market trends, sourcing, and recruiting activities trends Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, define, and document requirements for reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics Build reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards using multiple data sources to meet business requirements, including team and individual performance, process evaluations, data integrity and report audits Creates specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and required or available data elements Maintain and distribute existing reports and dashboards and develop new processes to accurately report on critical data Provide training to existing and new users of reports and dashboards Work with internal stakeholders to answer data & reporting questions and ensure reports meet business needs Work with partners in other Manufacturing , BI, HR, QA analytics teams, TA, OPS, Engineering, and IT to improve data collection processes, enhance existing reports and data sources, discuss requirements, work on cross-functional projects and share best practices Translate data into clear and concise communications and reports for leadership updates Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, newsletters (where applicable) and key insights to leadership team Participate in projects to support employee development/training process and governance when required Understand training and operations processes and update key inputs and outputs as new processes are implemented Analyze current operations and provide recommendations for improvement Required Qualifications Proficient with various business intelligence, analytics and computing systems and software such Tableau, PowerBI Experience working with a cloud SQL data warehouse/lake such as Big Q uery , Snowflake Strong SQL programming skills, including the use of SQL analytic functions and stored procedure development and maintenance Experience in Training/Employee Performance Analytics or People Analytics space providing reports, analysis and building scorecards and dashboard Strong understanding of data and reporting management including data integrity and privacy & security Experience document ing data models, dashboards, requirements, etc. Strong understanding of database structures and data integration procedures Strong data analytics skills and ability to leverage multiple internal and external data sources to enable data-driven insights and inform strategic talent decisions Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and drive for continuous improvement Great data visualization skills and user-centric thinking Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) and translate technical terms and concepts for the business, comfortable presenting and defending ideas in meetings, and a dedication to teamwork and partnerships Significant experience working with key stakeholders across several departments A constructive, problem-solving approach to obstacles that tactfully holds self and others accountable Preferred Qualifications Experience working with learning management software tools (i.e., Oracle, SAP/SuccessFactors, Question Mark, etc.) Proficient with various business intelligence, analytics and computing systems and software such as R, SaS Experience using and operating one or more data integration, data pipeline ETL/ELT tool sets (i.e., SnapLogic , Talend, Informatica, etc.) Experience with the development of orchestrating data with Google Cloud Composer (Airflow) using Python Experience editing pre-existing dashboards and the design & build of new dashboards Willingness and proven ability to learn new software and/or experience with Microsoft Visio, Project, SharePoint, Smart Sheet, Teams, and other data analysis, visualization & reporting tools Experience working with validated systems Knowledge of manufacturing operations a plus Travel Required Up to 25% To all Staffing and Recruiting Agencies: Our Careers Site is only for individuals seeking a job at Dexcom.
