Key Responsibilities

Kubernetes Management

Design, implement, and maintain

Kubernetes clusters

to orchestrate and manage containerized applications efficiently.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

Develop and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

using tools like

GitLab CI/CD

,

Jenkins

, or similar for automated builds, tests, and deployments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Use

OpenTofu

or

Terraform

to provision, manage, and version infrastructure on

AWS

or other cloud platforms.

Automation & Scripting

Automate infrastructure tasks and deployment workflows using

Bash

,

Python

, or similar scripting languages.

Collaboration & Optimization

Work closely with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor production environments, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Observability

Implement and maintain

logging, monitoring, and alerting

solutions to ensure quick detection and resolution of incidents.

Continuous Improvement

Stay up-to-date with

DevOps best practices

,

cloud trends

, and

emerging technologies

.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Engineering

, or a related field.

3+ years

of experience in a

DevOps

or

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

role.

Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with

Kubernetes

for container orchestration. Proficient in building and maintaining

CI/CD pipelines

using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent. Experience with

infrastructure as code

tools like

Terraform

or

OpenTofu

. Solid scripting abilities with

Bash

,

Python

, or other languages. Familiarity with

AWS

cloud infrastructure and services. Experience managing

high-availability

production systems and troubleshooting complex issues.
