[ n Your Job As a Sr Engineer 2, Plant Projectxa0in Molexu2019s Copper Solutions Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading all plant project management initiatives related to New Product Development.xa0 You will be part of a highly motivated, world-wide, cross functional team working through the New Product Development Process, Production Launch, and Operational Readiness Phases (Early Production).xa0 You will support the Technical Project Manager through Project Initiation to the Start of Production, and then lead the cross-functional team from Start of Production through Operational Readiness.xa0 You are comfortable leading world-wide cross function teams, mentoring team members, solving problems, and making/being accountable for project-level decisions.xa0 You are comfortable in a product production environment. xa0xa0 You thrive on moving the needle to achieve business objectives that will take Molex and our customers to the next level. Molexu2019s Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU) is a global team that works together to deliver exceptional products to worldwide telecommunication and data center customers. CSBU is one of the most highly technically advanced business units within Molex. Its objective is to enable the technology that customers will need in the next 2-5 years. What You Will Do Simultaneously support multiple New Product Development projects for customer specific and general market projects. Support customer sample requests and all plant project management related activities through the New Product Development Process. Contribute to and support internal & external facing Project Charters that clearly articulate project strategy, scope, financials, and schedule. Manage Project Change Control and Decision Documentation post Start of Production. Support development of Macro Project Schedules and understand and hold accountable Functional Team Members supporting Micro Schedules. Proactively identify, document, and execute risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, and/or Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement. Own Project Reporting communication to Management Lead and mentor team members in project management principles, PDP processes, risk management, issue resolution, decision making, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. The Experience You Will Bring Natural Leader with sense of ownership and accountability Manufacturing/Operations Specific Project Management Experience (2+ years) Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, finance, manufacturing, supply management, or related field Strong presentation and communication skills Strong organizational, interpersonal, & decision-making skills Ability to work mornings and evenings to participate in North America to Asia Pacific meetings Willingness to obtain PMP certification within 2 years Self-driven with ability to thrive without direct management on-site Fluency in Englishxa0 Contribution Minded Can-Do Attitude This job will be located at Johor.
