The EFA Field Applications Engineer is responsible for making our customers successful in addressing product failure through the employment of Fault Isolation applications with TFS optical based or e-beam based Meridian, thermal based ELITE, nanoprobing nProber/Hyperion, and circuit edit Centrios platforms. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working closely with customers and travel then this is the position for you! You will partner with our customers and internal teams of product development, marketing and sales to achieve the success. The ideal candidate is dedicated, pro-active, and being able to work independently: Develop/implement new applications & workflow to address semiconductor failures Conduct/coordinate customer demo, on-site evaluation, installation and training Understand and further develop customer requirements and system/application improvements, and feedback to marketing and product development teams Support sales activity by being the technical partner and application specialist Publish application notes and technical papers may present at technical conferences Location/Division Specific Information Singapore, MSD Keys to Success: Education BA degree in Physical Science, Engineering, or Semiconductor related field MS/PhD degrees in Physics or Electrical Engineer preferred Experience Experience in Microelectronics Electrical Failure Analysis Experience in Fault Isolation, Nanoprobing and Circuit Edit Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of semiconductor physics and microelectronics Knowledge of optics and optical/electron/ion microscopes Proven track record to plan, prioritize and problem solving Clear communication skill, both written and verbal, with a diverse audience is essential Be mechanically adept and hands on in operating instrument Capable of working on a global level with internal colleagues and external customers Be able to travel domestic and occasionally abroad up to 50% Physical Requirements / Work Environment NA Benefits We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
