Sr Executive - Business Development

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct market & feasibility studies in order to make highly informed judgements of value to the regional and local division management to develop new business leads.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new growth opportunities to sell the company\'s products and services to our customers.
  • Develop and execute product related strategies that aligns to the divisional strategy.
  • Collaborate with local business units to implement business / partnership models to increase sales and market share of our products.
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Proficient and effective presentation skills.
  • Develop productive relationships in multiple functions (Marketing, Sales, RA, Quality, Supply Chain) on a global and local level.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve problems in a timely fashion.
  • Investigate product issues and ensure satisfactory resolution of country complaints - Prepare regular funnel reporting\'s to the management.
  • Plan & execute product related events (training, live surgeries, roundtable meetings) on a regular basis.
  • Other initiatives as identified by managers and senior leadership
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Professional competencies
  • Possess a bachelor\'s degree
  • 5 years of sales and marketing or business development experience in Interventional Vascular Therapy.
  • MUST be having experience in Interventional Vascular Therapy.
  • Experience in planning and executing a 3-year business plan, and managing product launches and campaigns.
  • Experience in the product listing and tender process
  • Able to organize internal training sessions, external workshops and continuing medical education for the sutures business
  • Experience supporting OT cases and understanding of various surgical procedures is ideal
  • Exposure in business development and good understanding of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets is an advantage
  • Able to identify and build KOL network in local and/or regional markets
