This role is responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of Human Resources functions on a daily basis. Key areas of focus include payroll processing, employee benefits, attendance tracking, HR administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Payroll & Employee Benefits
Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.
Manage employee benefits, welfare programs, and related matters effectively.
2. HR Administration & Policy Implementation
Enforce current HR policies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Conduct monthly exit interview reviews to gather employee feedback.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity.
Oversee general office administration duties.
Support management with ad-hoc tasks as required.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor daily staff attendance and punctuality.
Prepare and review monthly and annual attendance and leave reports.
Generate weekly reports on frequent absences, including medical and other types of leave.
Ensure timely submission of reports through HR2000 or similar systems, such as:
Daily Tardiness Report
Weekly Attendance Report
Monthly Attendance Report
4. HR Systems & Data Maintenance
Maintain and update employee information in HR2000 or equivalent HR systems.
Track attendance, leave balances, medical claims, and related documentation.
Support payroll processes, including salary input, overtime claims, and allowances.
5. Leave Record Reconciliation
Ensure leave and attendance records are accurate and discrepancies are minimized.
6. Filing & Documentation
Maintain organized and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation.
7. General HR Support
Draft HR-related letters and documents.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient HR operations.
8. School-Related Assignments
Assist with school programs, events, and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager or Principal.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in HR, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee welfare, and handling disciplinary issues.
Proven ability to implement HR strategies and enforce policies effectively.
Prior experience in the education sector is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Familiarity with HR2000 or similar HR systems is a plus.
