JOB SUMMARY The Global ICT (In-Circuit Test) Test Development DFT Engineer performs Design For Test (DFT) Analysis on Complex PCB assemblies, communicates issues, and recommendations to Jabil and customer based PCB design engineers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES . Schematic Review - Analyze Circuit Board Schematics and recommend modifications to circuitry to ensure that the PCB assembly will be testable with a high level of defect coverage. Highlight violations to set design rules for test. . CAD Review - Analyze CAD data using Fabmaster or other software and recommend modifications to ensure that the PCB assembly will be testable with regard to mechanical fixturing and probing specifications. . Test Strategy - Analyze both Schematic and CAD data using Testway software or other DFT tools and collaborate with site test Engineers to recommend structural test steps and give predicted test coverage based on these recommendations. Following completion of test development generate reports comparing predicted test coverage vs. realized test coverage. . Jabil DFT Specifications - Make recommendations to the global DFT group regarding updates to the Global DFT Specification based on new technology encountered during DFT reviews. . May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Competency Level . Be proficient in full ICT Development and Deployment. . Board complexity 5000 nodes and above. . Debugging power up and boundary scan 10 components in a chain. . Be proficient in reducing test point, split fixture technique and loopback test design. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS . Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. . Must be able to communicate in English (read & write). . Background in in-circuit test (ICT) development on platform such as Agilent, Genrad, Teradyne, TRI, or Checksum preferred. . Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil\'s software packages. . Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. . Ability to write correspondence. . Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. . Travel will be required for customer support, training, test solution deployment, and to achieve many other Jabil business goals.
