Job Description


Supporting the Head of Commercial Product in Asia and taking the lead in the entire product development process, starting from generating ideas, conceptualizing products, developing value propositions, conducting product discovery, overseeing product implementation, and monitoring post-launch performance. Taking ownership of setting product objectives, creating plans, and establishing a roadmap specifically for the retail and consumer industry. Crafting and managing product planning and roadmaps tailored to individual clients within the retail and consumer sector. Effectively coordinating with various internal teams, such as Business Development, Pricing, Digital, Legal, and Marketing, to ensure product development aligns with broader business objectives and delivers desired outcomes. Conducting in-depth competitor analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities, and then leveraging these insights to make recommendations regarding the positioning of our own products. Developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for launching new products into the market. Compiling, defining, and summarizing business and product requirements and creating customer-facing documentation. Measuring the success of products by defining and tracking key product metrics, and continuously working on product optimization and making relevant recommendations. Taking a leadership role in managing the entire product and project lifecycle to ensure that deliverables meet the businesss requirements and objectives. Requirements Preferably 5-10 years relevant experience in high growth start-ups, tech companies, consulting or business intelligence Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline Strong negotiation and influencing skills Excellent communication and story-telling skills. Ability to synthesise and present complex analyses and data in a digestible format to different teams and stakeholders Data Analysis skills would be a plus with working knowledge of analytics Deep knowledge of product development process, strong understanding of product and growth such as growth funnels, growth loops, acquisition and how to measure them Strong understanding of Agile development teams, processes, principles and ways of working Possess strong understanding of market positioning and attribution Possess strong business and strategic mindset, problem solving and critical thinking skills Possess deep and strong knowledge of Consumer/ Retail industries Insurance product knowledge and trends would be a plus
