Job Purpose:

To lead, manage, and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for the projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with specifications, statutory requirements, and safety standards.

Qualification & Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in M&E works within the construction/contracting industry. Strong knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, ELV, plumbing, and sanitary systems. Experience handling building/hospital projects is an advantage. Familiar with local authority submissions, approvals, and inspections. Able to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings and technical documents. Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and basic project management tools. Willing to be site-based in

Sibu, Sarawak.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for assigned projects from design review through completion. Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works. Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems. Prepare and monitor project schedules, work progress, and resource planning for M&E works. Ensure compliance with local authorities, statutory regulations, and relevant codes/standards (e.g. BOMBA, where applicable). Identify design or site issues and propose practical engineering solutions. Monitor quality, safety, and workmanship standards on site. Review and certify M&E work progress, variation orders, and claims. Attend project meetings and provide technical advice and reports to management. Any others task as assigned by the company from time to time.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
