This position is encouraged to ensuring that procurement transactions are implemented in compliance Micron policies and procedures as well as any applicable regulatory or NGO standards. Besides that, develops a team by implementing all compliance activities associated with the source to pay process and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to eliminate fraud and mitigate transactional risk. To enable mitigations and compliance, cross functional coordination is required with Micron\'s procurement category organizations, the procurement Center of Excellence, Legal, Sustainability, IT Security, and Enterprise Risk. Your roles and responsibility will be, but not limited to: Handle and improve compliance programs based on a framework of detection, real time monitoring, preventative controls, education and awareness and supplier management standards related to compliance. Identify high-risk areas for non-compliance and implement actions to mitigate the identified risk. Develop and maintain Procurement Compliance & Ethics policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with applicable internal and legal standards. Develop compliance training and awareness curriculum. Identify, propose, and implement appropriate technology solutions to operationalize and scale the compliance function. Maintain and publish metrics related to the Compliance & Ethics program. Supervise compliance of Global Procurement and Micron team members to established policies and procedures, concerning procurement and supplier engagement. Partner with Corporate Functions (Legal, Trade Compliance, Global Procurement, Government Affairs) to design and implement compliance assessments across business functions and geographic areas and design effective controls based on those assessments. Collaborate with corporate compliance and ethics functions on investigations, corrective actions, counseling, and implementation. Establish a culture of continuous improvement in procurement global compliance processes and tools. Implement and handle fraud detection tools and dashboards to identify high risk transactions and facilitate reviews of available data. Identify potential areas of vulnerability in procurement and related payable processes and recommend preventative actions and controls. Lead and Build an Effective Team Handle job expectations and responsibilities for your team including sharing feedback through regular one on one team interactions and empower team members through delegation and teamwork. Run individual and team performance to develop a strong team through the REACH performance management process. Prioritize objectives, remove barriers, and implement accountability for results. Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment Communicate requirements and expectations to leaders and external partners. Maintain knowledge of and apply company safety, labor, and ethics policies. Ensure execution of required training for organization Identify and resolve and / or report potential safety, security, and labor issues. Knowledge & Skills Strong business and procurement process competence Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of management system design and implementation Experience with procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source to pay processes) Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly communicate sophisticated topics Basic knowledge of current leading compliance tools and data science Excellent communication skills and strong dedication to integrity Ability to simultaneously identify, prioritize and address multiple issues/priorities Proficiency with MS Office and general ability to learn new platforms Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree in Legal, Business, Engineering, or related field 10 years of compliance experience Ability to travel internationally Preferred someone that has experience with semiconductor manufacturing and/or Project Management Professional certification About Micron Technology, Inc.
