Molex is actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Opcenter APS Developer to contribute to the innovation and development of the Opcenter Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) system and programs. Working collaboratively with a team of skilled programmers, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coding programs that precisely address the needs of Molex employees, ensuring a seamless software experience for internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with the Business Analysis (BA) team and other departments to implement change requests and develop Opcenter APS applications.
• Evaluate system capabilities and recommend enhancements to improve application performance.
• Develop technical specifications and applications using a variety of programming languages.
• Conduct thorough functionality tests for new and updated applications, making necessary modifications.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and collaborate with IT personnel.
• Document program development and contribute to the creation of user manuals.
• Monitor program performance and provide ongoing support.
• Adhere to established methodologies and IT department standards.
• Assist project leads in defining tasks and estimating duration.
• Support solution acceptance through the execution of acceptance tests.
• Conduct unit, regression, integration, and functional tests.
• Fulfill assigned duties from management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens Opcenter APS development for Medical Devices, Electronics, or Semiconductors.
• Proficient in C#, .NET framework development, and high-performance T-SQL writing.
• Domain knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings to elicit design and architecture content.
• Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.).
• At least 6 years of experience in development languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML/JSP, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, XSL, T-SQL, with excellent SQL tuning skills.
• Strong collaboration skills for effective teamwork, particularly in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
