Who are we looking for?

  • Leading a team to drive the risk management governance & assurance for the Strategic growth initiatives and functions ensuring that effective mitigations are in place.
  • Accelerate risk exercises for SBUs, Corporate functions and Growth projects in line with our client\'s enterprise risk management framework to support the Strategic Growth readiness assessment, design and execution stages.
  • Work with all of their leaders globally in the creation, implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation plans for Strategic Growth to ensure that the SBUs are well-prepared for a major adverse or favorable event taking place in its internal or external environment.
  • Responsible for EBIT Risk Modelling Process in Strategic Growth, challenging the initiative business cases based on quantifying the risks to achieve the strategy by engaging with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Minimum Post Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Experience: 10+years of professional experience in industrial firms - energy, manufacturing, chemicals, utilities, or banks. Job Specific Skills: ISO-31000; Project management standards PMI; COSO Framework.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Implement ERM framework for Strategic Growth Organization through guidance, advice, external risk intelligence reports and subject matter experts to support the project risk management activities
  • Aggregating project risks across the portfolio and regions to give holistic views on risks and their implications to RM Director
  • Monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of project risk response actions, accuracy and completeness of project reporting and advice on timely remediation of deficiencies.
  • Develop and continuously refresh guidance and assistance to the business and process owners with the identification, understanding, evaluation, management and communication of threats and opportunities as part of the business case submission for approval
  • Driving risk assessment workshops in various stages of the Growth projects with dedicated experts from ERM team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of deliverables
  • Ensure the development of effective risk response strategies and actions to manage identified risks
  • Monitoring & Reporting risks within the Strategic Growth organization to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of response actions and advise on timely remediation of deficiencies.
  • Deploy risk management capability & knowledge within the growth projects teams through awareness and training on ERM risk management policies and processes
  • Expedite the deployment of risk modeling tools/techniques to assess new and emerging growth project risks.

Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation. If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client. If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you. 2.2 Client phone/video interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week. If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team from our client will schedule a call with you to evaluate your qualifications. The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions. If your phone interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, and they will invite you to a video interview when hiring managers are available. If your resume is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 2.3 Video interviews with hiring managers: which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field. 3. Conditional Offer A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment. Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
