Who are we looking for?


  • This role leads and manages the Global Tax Function engagement in the organization growth and strategic projects, including the Zakat and Tax optimized planning and implementation of the organization growth and strategic projects in line with policy and with compliant audit trails, documentation and processes.
  • Proactively works with M&A and Growth Projects team on the planning and optimization of the organization tax position for business\' decision making.
  • This role supports the TPP Lead (L4) on the 1) Overall tax planning initiatives 2) managing relationship and engagement with Aramco 3) Government and NGO relationship on securing tax incentives 3) Development of the Global Zakat & Tax Planning Framework, including the Policy, Governance Model, Control Requirements, Standard Processes and Planning Matrix.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant subjects such Law, Economics, Accounting, Finance
  • Professional qualification such as Tax Practitioner\'s Certificate, CPA, Law or ACCA
    10+in international tax and M&A work - KSA Zakat experience an advantage.
  • Extensive Experience in the tax function of large multinationals and/or Big 4.
  • Job Specific Skills: Expert knowledge of global tax planning; Optimization and tax risk management.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead/manage Strategic Growth and M&A projects for Global Tax.
  • Lead the Global Tax Function engagement with Strategic growth leadership team, M&A, JVAs, SBUs, deal parties, Aramco, various functions and other external stakeholders including relevant government authorities to create, defend and deliver value by optimizing deals and growth investments.
  • Lead the planning and timely communication of project risks, opportunities and deliverables for optimized business decision making during the entire project life cycle (from opportunity development to implementation).
  • Lead / manage regional and global Tax team and various external advisors to deliver optimized deal and growth investment structures e.g. tax incentives, optimized JV deal terms/structure, ownership and financing structures, Global Enterprise Model (technology/feedstock/sales and marketing intercompany pricing), economics model and legal agreements review, legal entity and system set-up, etc. with consistent global tax approach and accurate reporting.
  • Provides input to the Global Tax Planning and Projects Lead on the development, management, monitoring and completion of Zakat & Tax planning strategy.

If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client. If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you. 2.2 Client phone/video interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week. If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team from our client will schedule a call with you to evaluate your qualifications. The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions. If your phone interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, and they will invite you to a video interview when hiring managers are available. If your resume is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 2.3 Video interviews with hiring managers: which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field. 3. Conditional Offer A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment. Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
