Sr. Staff Engineer/ Staff Engineer - Info Security Risk & Compliance Specialist

Duties and responsibilities

• Design and implement IT security solutions with focus on operational technology (OT).
• Define secure IT/OT architectures, including support of roll-out.
• Optimize existing solutions to prevent and detect attacks and evaluate new solutions.
• Investigate and follow up on information security incidents and coordinate security incident response.
• Manage or support risk assessments and security audits.
• Support and monitor patch and vulnerability management and perform vulnerability scans.
• Participate in creation and maintenance of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Act as mentor or trainer to operational units to support the implementation of IT/OT security policies and solutions.
• Representation of information security in IT/OT projects and management of information security projects.

Professional competencies

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, or equivalent work experience
• Processional certification such as CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. German would be a plus
• A technical understanding of a comprehensive Information Security systems and processes, particularly in the domain of risk management and compliance framework
• Experience in executing IT security audit and security risk assessment in a mutinational organization
• Experience with industry-recognized Cyber, Privacy, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) applications
• Experience or understanding of information security risk processes and solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex security-related topics for non-technical audiences
