Ensure all supported services are monitored closely and pro-active measures are taken to fix the issues. Ensure to drive technical SIPs to solve known repeated issues. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in WebSphere, JBOSS, TOMCAT and will provide technical support to the application developers and client application business owners. Act as the point of contact for WebSphere and JBOSS Product throughout the application life cycle. Ensure WebSphere, JBOSS, NGINX, TOMCAT servers are compliant to security standards. Propose architectural solutions to support WebSphere, JBOSS, TOMCAT requirements for high availability, reliability, security, etc. Handle complexity and troubleshoot various technical scenarios on various software platforms. Document the modified application design, code, logic, packages, modules or triggers in the appropriate tool and update the operations manual Participate in critical incidents and ensure services are restored in stipulated SLA. Participate in RCA discussions to help problem managers derive root cause for critical incidents. Pro-actively apply monitoring baseline and monitor the alerts to restore the faulty services. Pro-actively manage critical configuration backups for standard web products to restore services quickly. Work with Engineering and Automation teams to automate manual activities in day to day operations. Simplify Standard operating procedures for all standard web products and maintain runbooks for service restoration for critical services. Schedule and Plan patching all supported web assets. Offer solutions to fix NCs reported in compliance, vulnerability scans and pen tests. Testing out of the new designs and working with applications teams on specific migration related activities. Configure High availability Clusters and deploy vulnerable free web infrastructure. Create Clusters and Configure highly available JBOSS EAP, JBOSS TOMCAT, RHEL TOMCAT, RHEL HTTP and Liberty Base. Business Design and build the infrastructure required to support the Web Service. Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and techniques. Gather infrastructure requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions to match. Support end users of the infrastructure including training and knowledge transfer. Recommend and maintain standards for monitoring and event management . Processes Should follow Web standard and internal process Should follow ITSM process. Should ensure security standards are applied and potential risks in estate are remediated. Should ensure path reporting is published on time. Risk Management Should respond to RFIs Should ensure NCs are addressed. Should ensure all existing RISKs are tracked and has action plans to mitigate/remediate. Other Responsibilities When required, provide consulting service for initiatives requiring expert Web advice. Keep current with new technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements. Have regular knowledge transfer sessions with Web Service stakeholders including Web Support team members. Our Ideal Candidate 8+ years of relevant experience in web technologies Preferred Technologies knowledge in support & adminnistartion - Jboss EAP, Websphere ND, Apache httpd, Tomcat Must have knowledge in Production support coverage & Flexible Shifts and weekend support if required Hands-on Incident driving and resolution IBM WebSphere & RedHat JBOSS EAP Certification is a plus Agile Certification is a plus.
