Responsibilities:

  • Integrate manufacturing equipment to MES system, enabling Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).
  • Maintain & enhance existing equipment integration solutions and monitor the system performance.
  • Test and release equipment integration solutions.
  • Provide training to enable first line support are equipped with appropriate knowledge/skill to provide frontline operation support for production.
  • Develop technical or training material as needed.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and vendor interaction to troubleshoot, analyze and develop solutions for problems involving integrated systems.
  • Third level MES system support.
  • Provide integration solutions between manufacturing systems & enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, Data Analytics Platform, Cloud Solutions and other related systems.
Qualification:
  • Graduate of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Engineering or other Engineering related field.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree is a plus.
Experience:
  • At least 7 years of solid professional software development experience
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience with exposure on IT engagements with various areas in manufacturing such as Production Operations, Product Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, and IE/Planning.
  • Experience in implementing Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
  • In-depth experience in manufacturing systems integration with production equipment in protocols such as SECS\\GEM, OPC-UA and other integration protocols.
  • Hands On implementation experience with CAMSTAR\\Siemens Opcenter is an added advantage.
Skills:
  • Must be knowledgeable and have hands-on experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • 5+ years object-oriented programming & database experience (C++, Perl, ASP.NET, .Net, REST, MVC, SQL, JavaScript\xe2\x80\xa6etc.).
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to motivate internal and external teams.
  • Must be knowledgeable on semiconductor back-end processes (Probe, Assembly, Final Test, and Packaging) and engineering tools and methodologies applied to these areas.
  • Ability to perform well in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry standard technical practices and emerging technologies in software development.
