Job Description

Design, develop, and test embedded software. Coordinate and participate in firmware design and code review. Perform in-depth debugging and testing of firmware to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.

In your new role you will:

• Be involved in definition and development of embedded firmware which meets performance, cost and schedule.
• Coordinate and participate in firmware design and code review.
• Perform in-depth debugging and testing of firmware to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including firmware specifications, architectures, detailed designs, and testing procedures.
• Develop python scripts for automation, testing, data analysis and integration tasks within the firmware development process.
• Work closely with cross functional team to generate innovative ideas, optimize design, troubleshooting and debugging.
• Explore and integrate AI models, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), into embedded systems for specific applications.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics /Telecommunications / Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing and debugging low-level firmware for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers (microprocessors) programming and preferably the ARM core CPU.
• Proficient in C / C++. Experience in Python script will be an added advantage.
• Strong mathematical background (optional)
• Must have good communication skill. Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers.
• Understanding of deploying AI models on embedded systems, including experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks will be an added advantage.
