HierarchyPOSITION : Staff Engineer, MechanicalREPORTING TO : Head, Maintenance Engineering & ReliabilityDIVISION/DEPARTMENT : PBF/M- Maintenance Engineering & ReliabilityLOCATION : KL Office2.1 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES1. KEY OBJECTIVES

• Developing the CBM program and 2-yearly engine pre-inspection/overhaul/servicing look-ahead plan for all PTTEP locations as will be defined.
• Developing Maintenance Procedures and Work Instructions for all facilities.
• Supporting the drive towards AIMS (Asset Integrity Management) in the form of implementing QA methods, reliability-based or otherwise, on all mechanical equipment, vendor deliverables, inputs to the development of associated guidelines, procedures & philosophies, initiation of facilities improvement initiatives (in the form of an MOC), observations/findings from inspection tours, etc.
• Maintaining Facilities Integrity through timely and appropriate implementation of equipment planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensuring that implementation of all equipment planned preventive maintenance activities are within approved WP & B plans.
• Ensuring that mechanical equipment maintenance service provider fulfills their contractual deliverables, on time and within budget.

1.1 KEY OBJECTIVES

• Ensures all non-planned events and the cost of unreliability are captured and analyzed for improvement opportunities.
• Identifies impacts of changing operations on facility and equipment availability and equipment reliability. These impacts are proactively identified, assessed, and approved corrective actions to mitigate impact are implemented to completion.
• Establish quality and technical specifications and procedures related to all maintenance and repair activities, for use by both internal and external maintenance technicians and engineers.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Providing inputs into the WP&B (Work Program and Budget) of your specific discipline, e.g. - work program forecast and corresponding budget estimates.
• Management of the implementation of any Corrective Maintenance work and development of an analytical post-mortem to ensure that the same or similar problem does not occur on the failed equipment.
• Ensure accurate data upload into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) pertaining to equipment planned maintenance program and its frequencies. Ensure that maintenance programs shown in CMMS are implemented accordingly.
• Provide technical support in investigation, failure analyses, rectification of failed or problematic dynamic units/components.
• Review of vendor\'s priced submittals corresponding to work order requests or RFQs, i.e. - Work Order Proposals, Quotation.

2.1 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Custodianship of mechanical equipment maintenance service contracts that may be assigned and prudent monitoring and control of its ACV utilization.
• Ensure prudent execution of mechanical equipment maintenance servicing and repair and are compliant with the applicable industry best practices.
• Manage the accurate and periodic updating of a data base on rotating equipment running hours, % utilization, availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR.
• Evaluate & validate any emerging technology related to improving rotating equipment uptime and performance.
• As/when requested in order to support facilities integrity management, to take up any other discipline engineering responsibility related to his/her core or second engineering skill/knowledge and experience (if any and capable).

3. KEY AUTHORITIES

• As Staff Engineer, Mechanical, KL Office-based, free to act within the authorities granted by the Facilities and/or Maintenance Engineering and Reliability Head.
• Ensure all activities comply with all PTTEP, PETRONAS, and Government statutory requirements and regulations.

4. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities are:

• The Health Safety and welfare of all persons engaged on or related to any site project work being undertaken by COMPANY. In particular COMPANY personnel, staff, contracted and visitors, including third parties.
• Provide technical support to PTTEP\'s Corporate and Departmental HSE that are related to both HSE and your specific discipline or experience, as/when requested.

5. WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Reports directly to the Maintenance Engineering and Reliability Head, keeping him informed of overall development planning activities.
• Coordinate with all other disciplines and Business Partners on team-oriented maintenance activities.
• Liaise with PETRONAS as appropriate.
• Good relations must be maintained with personnel on all facilities and Kuala Lumpur office.
• Prudent observance of PTTEP\'s Code of Ethics at all times when interfacing with vendors/service providers.

6. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience on mechanical equipment in upstream oil & gas maintenance and reliability activities, and asset management.
• Experience in Oil & Gas production operations an advantage.

• Computer literate.
• Proactive, quick learner and proven good team player.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.

• Must be a team player and capable of communicating technical issues across all other disciplines.
