Job Summary
As Spare Part Value Stream Engineer at Asia Hub, he/she will be responsible for manufacturing process and engineering to ensure manufacturing meeting safety, quality, cost and delivery through manufacturing process compliance of direct labour and quality requirement of both direct and
indirect material.

Job Scope

• Responsible for Process Planning, Part Introduction and Industrial Engineering for spare part at Asia Hub.
• Responsible to define and configure packaging type for spare parts according to defined ASA guideline, including creating new packaging material.
• Perform planning for line, layout, machine, equipment, manpower capacity planning and utilization.
• Responsible for Asia Hub Spare part change request (ECR) - in issuance, coordination and closure between Asia Hub and other Bosch plants.
• Responsible for production time calculation and derive improvement measures.
• Plan production line layout, workstation layout, manufacturing process, material flow planning, area/space and headcount requirements.
• Introduction and implementation of process control parameters.
• Perform Process and Machine Capability studies and assurance.
• Responsible for customer complaint resolution and implementation of preventive measures.
• Establish and review Manufacturing Engineering documents (e.g. FMEA, CP, etc.)
• Provide training and guide production on the new processes, if any.
• Responsible for achieving the effectiveness/productivity and quality target, with close collaboration with team.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with minimum 5 years related working experience.
• Experience in manufacturing field, especially in process, engineering or quality would be an added advantage.
• Possess good analytical and communication skills. Accountable, self-driven and independent. Problem solving is essential.
• Literacy in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point). SAP knowledge is an added advantage
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners is essential.
• Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
