Summary

The Senior Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Leads the entire Frontend and Backend X-ray & AOI Equipment.
• Leads new SPI, AXI & AOI equipment and line setup for the plant.
• Constantly seek new technology and improvement for AXI & AOI related.
• Assess and design the best AOI & AXI coverage configuration.
• Lead Imaging Engineering. Inclusive of SPI, AXI, AOI, Dage & X Ray counters.
• Manage day to day operations support related matters.
• Leads and guides a group of Imaging Engineers and technicians.
• Able to coach and train engineers and technicians to meet target sets.
• Manage overall equipment downtime, improving the overall SPI, AOI & AXI related yields OEE.
• Manage downtime reduction plan for the entire Imaging equipment.
• Work constantly improves false calls for all imaging equipment.
• Ensure no structural related defect escapes from imaging equipment.
• Capable of assessing and planning for new machines or machine upgrades.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

• 7-9 years of experience in PCBA Environment.
• Experience in managing a team from Imaging team (SPI, AOI, AXI)

Typical Education

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Related Field
