JOB REQUIREMENT

• Possess Diploma or Bachelor in Nursing from recognized university/ institutions.
• Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practise as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year experience in related field.
• Possess post basic in ICU/ Renal/ Pediatric/ Midwifery/ Peri-operative/ Trauma/ Orthopedic would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Caring, honest and responsible worker.
• Willingness to work on scheduled hours, shift and weekends, public holidays, on call and anytime when called during emergency.
• Microsoft Office literacy.
• Those without Post Basic Certification and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Understand and carries out the nursing care in line with Vision and Mission Statements, Goals and objectives.
• Work shift duties or assigned by Unit Manager according to Unit\xe2\x80\x99s Operational Hours.
• Inform Unit Manager when change occurs in circumstances which affect standards of care.
• Receives and handover report of patients, knows the case in details \xe2\x80\x93 progress of the patient, ensures all doctors\xe2\x80\x99 orders are carried out before shift change and on taking over case.
• Follow doctors / consultants ward round and assists them in doing procedures when required.
• Liaises and discusses with the relevant doctors / consultants with regards to care of patients in the unit / ward.
• Establishes and develops effective communication with all disciplines, patients and relatives to achieve optimal patient satisfaction.
• Participates in the health education of patients and their families in the ward.
