Provides professional nursing care as part of an individualized, holistic patient care plan in accordance with hospital and Nursing Services policies.
Delivers nursing care aligned with the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives of the Nursing Services.
Works shift duties or as assigned by the Nurse Manager based on unit operational hours.
Participates in staff meetings and Nursing Assemblies to support effective nursing operations and shared goals.
Completes patient charges accurately and ensures all chargeable items are recorded.
Coordinates with wards to prepare patients for surgery, ensuring timely arrival and compliance with the Safe Surgery Checklist.
Records all surgery cases in the Operation Theatre Record Book.
Performs additional duties as assigned, including deployment or rotation to other nursing units.
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing
Post-Basic in related field - Perioperative Nursing qualification
Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to do on-call duty and work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required.
