Job Description

1. Plan, organize, communicate, supervise and evaluate the total care plan for the patients.

2. Guide and direct activities of co-workers as they provide patient care.

3. Provide supervisory support within the assigned area.

4. Assist in moving of casualties from the car to Emergency Room.

5. Triage patient upon arrival and set priorities.

6. Observe record of vital signs of patient and report all abnormality of patient's condition to ER Doctor.

7. Assist doctors in examination of patients.

8. Ensure doctor's orders, treatment and investigations are being carried out.

9. Administration of medications, record use of DDA drugs and other given treatment.

10. Carry out nursing procedures for patients e.g. insertion of Ryles tube, catheterization for male patient and dressing.

11. Carry out diagnostic / therapeutic procedure when required e.g. ECG, nebulizer, blood glucose monitoring.

12. Performs extended roles when required e.g. IV cannulation

13. Prepare trolley and assist in performing special procedures e.g. endotracheal intubation and chest tube insertion

14. Arrange patient for admission, transfer to another hospital or for discharges.

15. Assist in coordinating of ambulance services.

16. Respond to ambulance call either from patient's home or road traffic accident victims at any time.

17. Transfer of ill / trauma patients needing hospitalization toother hospital by ambulance.

18. Liaise with ER Doctor and police for motor vehicle accident, assault cases and "Brought in Dead" cases according to protocol.

19. Check crash cart every shift to ensure all drugs are in place and equipment are in good working order

20. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager of the unit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
