POSITION: Senior Product Engineer

LOCATION: Penang, Malaysia

JOB DESCRITPION:

Infra Core Power is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team to drive the manufacturing improvement activities for Digital Power products. It is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional team to address production inefficiencies, implement cost improvement plans to enhance yield, test time, throughput, and quality to support the corporate business objectives. The job scope includes but are not limited to, statistical analysis for yield/test time improvement, ATE software and hardware management, product qualification, customer return and FA support, and BOM maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and provide daily reports for all Infra Core Power products in volume production. Report any excursions or limit violations.

• Yield/volume trends

• Low-yield lots: first-pass analysis
• Drive continuous improvements in product quality and cost on sustaining products
• Top10 pareto

• Review site-to-site interactions/SBL
• QA failures: first-pass analysis i.e. guardband issue/mis-trim
• Disposition of production issues. Provide weekly report
• Coordinate test program improvement opportunities

• Limit optimization (e.g. PAT)
• Test Time Reduction activities
• Improve product quality by automation of reporting through leverage of PDF Exensio / GA cloud tools

• Generate/Utilize/Rollout PDF EY/GA quality templates to detect and prevent potential quality excursions
• Drive GMII activities

• Identify potential yield and test time reduction opportunities and drive the execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years experience in product engineering with BS degree or 4+ years with MS degree. Familiarity with power products would be a plus.

• Experience with statistical data processing, problem solving methodologies, yield management.

• Experience in yield management tools such as PDF Exensio, GA, JMP. Apply statistical analysis to isolate the issue and make data-driven decisions.

• Knowledge of power device circuitry would be a plus.

• Ability to managing supplier excursions and customer escalations through problem solving

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• A good team player. Effective in fast paced, dynamic work environment.

EDUCATION:

• BS in Electrical Engineering

• MS in Electrical Engineering is preferred
