Job Description

The Research & Development team provides value add by:
Defining, implementing and/or maintaining R&D strategy, guidelines, systems and services for VISHAY
Aligning and ensuring implementation of R&D budgets, monitors R&D programs, and allocates resources.
Planning and coordinating and implementing R&D projects and processes (i.e., technology research projects, product & test development programs).
Leading identification and consolidation of R&D projects in line with technological trends and development plans.
Coordinating research, development, and pre-industrialization of products.
Representing VISHAY's R&D competence externally towards customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
A job at this level:
Design and develop optocoupler products and their packaging to facilitate the launch of new products from the prototyping stage to mass production.
Plans, designs, manages, and executes Optocoupler Product and Package Development including the development of Test program and procedures
Evaluates the opportunities and risks associated with the application and implementation of research findings.
Source, assess, and analyze new products, designs, materials, and processes, and recommend improvements to enhance the competitive edge.
What you will bring along:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, Physics)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in IC/semiconductor environment.
• Good knowledge/understanding of semiconductor packaging processes, technology and testing.
• Strong analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Great interpersonal skills and communication.
• Experience in Hands on semiconductor testing and test development are added advantage.
