Position Summary
Kinesso is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Staff Software Engineer to fill an immediate need. This individual should be comfortable with full stack, from implementing visual designs to working with backend databases. We are looking for a technology professional who can manage, lead, mentor, coach & grow our technology team and can deliver business value in an environment that fosters creativity, play, and hard work. Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, mentor, remove impediments, coach & grow our engineering team.
• Designing and develop software architecture and developing Machine Learning Platform in microservice architecture to optimize ML model execution. Integrating solvers like GAMS and CPLEX to run regression optimization.
• Design extendable software component to automate new math model onboarding at scales.
• Manage expectations from product owners to define and prioritize requirements, and architecting software & hardware solutions to their most critical needs incrementally.
• Foster design principles, unit tests vs integration tests; Evolving unit tests and integration test cases with TestNG through TDD to improve the design and code quality.
• Automate CI/CD, single click deployment to all environments through Jenkins.
• Perform research and development to evaluate new technologies, ideas and communicate value for the company.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Java/Python & object-oriented design patterns.
• 2+ years of experience in leading a team size of 7 technical professionals.
• Familiarity with Python 'data stack' (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) a plus.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud-based infrastructure provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience developing APIs within a web framework such as Flask/ Django/ Ruby on Rails preferred.
• Experience with general development best practices: Git, Test-driven development
• Comfortable developing in Linux environments, Docker a plus.
• Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies.
