Definition of procurement strategies
to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of products/services.
Support the Commodity Manager to set up a strategy for the accounted commodity.
Implementation of alternative procurement sources
to minimize stock times, inventory levels and costs (cost avoidance /cost reduction).
Regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly.
Reporting of local results monthly/quarterly to control the measurable activities against the planned figures.
Strategy and Market know-how
Deep knowledge of relevant markets, market development, market main players, competitors and derived IFX PUR Strategy.
Supplier Intelligence
Expert for all issues of local A-suppliers (e.g. business model, development roadmap, company values, SWOT, fears, cost structure); deep knowledge of IFX competition strategy at the supplier (What is IFX competitor\'s strategy at the same supplier?).
Analysis and controlling of contractual agreements
to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies.
Supplier Management
to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain (incl. minimizing of purchasing risks).
Contribute to the Cluster Purchasing
Performance (Cost, Quality) inline with the set targets.
Proactive information exchange with Core Buyers

Your profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:
relevant vocational training (3+ years) and extensive subject-specific additional qualification
a relevant completed study with a duration of 4 years and additional qualification or by a relevant completed study (+4 years)
first relevant working experience
High level of commercial apprenticeship with additional understanding for technical requirements or high level of technical apprenticeship with advanced level of BA understanding
Academy or university degree advantageous
Understanding in respect of changing markets (seller vs. Buyer markets)
Understanding of semiconductors, semiconductor industry and its customers advantageous
Frequent information exchange to all internal customers and the most important suppliers
Frequent reporting to Purchasing management
