Our client is a rapidly expanding Multinational Semiconductor company in Perak. They are currently seeking a Staff Test Development Engineer. Key Responsibilities Creating innovative solutions for efficient testing in high parallel environments, developing new methodologies to enhance coverage and reduce test duration, and improving program structures. Transferring current production test programs to multisite setups and cost-effective, modern testing equipment. Providing support and resolution for test production engineering, test software, and hardware issues, including evaluation, debugging, and optimization during periods of ramp-up and high-volume production. Skills & Experience Required Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in product test development engineering or related fields. Familiarity with various Automated Test Equipment (ATE), particularly Eagle, Chroma 3380, and ASL1000. Proficient in creating ATE test programs and hardware for Serial Transceiver products, spanning from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production. Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces or Power Management products is beneficial. Strong software proficiency, including Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, etc. Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and spectrum analyzers is desirable. Excellent analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with solid time management, multitasking abilities, and the initiative to tackle technical challenges proactively.
