Job Description
SRN - General Ward Responsibilities:
- Provide high standards of nursing care
- Provide dedicated service with respect to patients\xe2\x80\x99 spiritual and cultural belief
- Adherence to Patient Safety Goals in compliance to the standards set by Ministry of Health
- Fast learner and computer literate
- All other duties of a Registered Staff Nurse Practitioner
- State Registered Nurse with minimum two (2) years of work experience in hospital environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Pleasant Personality with good stewardship skills
- Ability to work on shift schedules is a prerequisite
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken
- Prepare delivery rooms as per infection control guidelines
- Ensure proper consents and pre-op assessments is obtained
- Documents nursing care properly on charts, forms and computers
- Assist the Nurse Manager in the management of Labor Room
- Assist Doctor in delivery
- Handling labor emergency
- State Registered Nurse with at least 2 years\' experience
- Possess valid post basic certificate in Midwifery
- Possess Annual Practicing Certificate
- Able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
