We are now hiring

Mandarin-speaking Housekeeping Supervisors and Stateroom Stewards

for our

European River Cruise routes

, providing professional Chinese-language hospitality service on board.

Responsibilities:

Provide housekeeping service for

Chinese guests

, ensuring cabins meet Viking's hygiene and quality standards. Understand and follow Chinese housekeeping service guidelines (cleaning standards, guest request procedures). Participate in cabin setup during embarkation/disembarkation and ensure rooms meet quality and readiness requirements.

Housekeeping Supervisor:

Lead and train the Stateroom Steward team, plan daily schedules, and monitor cleaning performance. Conduct room inspections, manage inventory, and complete reports in

Chinese

(linen usage, guest feedback, etc.). Handle guest requests and special arrangements, coordinate repairs, and ensure high satisfaction levels.

Stateroom Steward:

Perform daily cabin cleaning -- bed making, sanitation, linen replacement -- according to onboard standards. Respond promptly to guest requests in

Chinese

(e.g., toiletries, luggage organization). Maintain inventory, ensure cabin facilities are intact, and report issues immediately.

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin

(daily guest service and internal communication). Able to read Chinese housekeeping documents and service standards.

Experience:

Housekeeping Supervisor:

Minimum

2 years' experience

in hotel/inn housekeeping management (e.g., floor supervisor or housekeeping lead).

Stateroom Steward:

Minimum

2 years' experience

in hotel housekeeping or cabin cleaning.

Personal Qualities:

Supervisor:

Detail-oriented, organized, with leadership and problem-solving ability.

Steward:

Responsible, efficient, proactive, and attentive to service details.

Appearance Requirement:

No visible tattoos while wearing the company uniform.
