A leading SSC is looking for a dynamic and results-driven candidate for a Statutory Reporting Manager job to oversee the accounting processes for their legal entities. About the Statutory Reporting Manager Role:
In this role, you will be overseeing the financial processes within the regions. Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of driving the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for legal entities, collaborating closely with local stakeholders, Finance shared services, and corporate accounting teams
- Ensure the timely and smooth completion of the financial close process, adhering to established deadlines
- Conduct thorough reviews of profit and loss and balance sheet flux, offering insightful commentaries on significant variances
- Prepare and meticulously review manual journals and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Minimum of six years\' work experience in the treasury, accounting, finance functions, retail background is preferred
- Degree/diploma in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Great exposure to ERP system
- Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
