Company Description Realfun Learning Centre is a Miri-based company that provides coding lessons for children and teenagers between the ages of 8 and 17. Our mission is to help the next generation become future-ready by equipping them with coding skills through a fun, interactive, and imaginative approach. We are also STEM delivery partner for Sarawak state government, extending the impact of STEM education to more locations in Sarawak especially in sub-urban and rural areas. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role at Realfun Learning Centre as a STEM coach located in Miri, with some flexibility for remote work. The STEM Coach will be responsible for teaching coding concepts and skills to children and teenagers aged 7-17 through an interactive and imaginative approach. They will collaborate with a team of educators to develop and deliver the coding curriculum, provide guidance and mentorship to students, and continually improve the learning experience for children, teenagers, and parents. The STEM coach will also be responsible for supporting student projects, identifying learning challenges, and ensuring student progress. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field Experience with coding in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Scratch Experience working with children and teenagers and an interest in STEM education Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills Passionate, creative, energetic, and imaginative with a strong desire to help children and teenagers learn Experience with curriculum development, project-based learning, and/or classroom management is a plus Teaching certification or experience is a plus
