Wash, clean, and sanitize all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cooking equipment.
Kitchen Support
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing vegetables, peeling, portioning, etc.).
Help in moving and storing food supplies and kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper arrangement and storage of kitchen tools and ingredients.
Waste Management
Segregate waste and dispose of garbage according to hotel policies.
Maintain cleanliness in garbage and recycling areas.
Safety & Compliance
Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Report damaged equipment, breakages, and maintenance needs to supervisors.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Team Support
Support kitchen and banquet operations during busy service hours.
Assist in setup and breakdown of kitchen and banquet areas.
Requirements
Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is an advantage.
Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety standards (HACCP preferred).
Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift kitchen equipment.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Team-oriented, reliable, and hardworking.
Clean kitchen floors, walls, drains, workstations, storage areas, and garbage rooms.
Ensure dishwashing machines are operated properly and maintained.
Follow HACCP and hotel hygiene standards at all times.
