POSITION SUMMARY: The main role is involved in Hospital Stock Management and Inventory, issue Purchase Order, handling request, supply, and arrangement of the stock as per Hospital Policy and Procedures. Also involved in handling all store day-to-day operations. PIC for the store in the respective hospital. This position reports directly to the HOU/HOD. POSITION SUMMARY: The main role is involved in Hospital Stock Management and Inventory, issue Purchase Order, handling request, supply, and arrangement of the stock as per Hospital Policy and Procedures. Also involved in handling all store day-to-day operations. PIC for the store in the respective hospital. This position reports directly to the HOU/HOD. 1. To ensures cleanliness of the workplace as it is essential for safety and work environment. 2. To train new staff and assists the superior in the management of the store. 3. PIC of the Store in the absence of the Head of the Unit. Report all incidents/issues directly to the Head of Department. 4. Prepare supplies to sub-location as per request and follow Par Level. Monitor all the slow-moving, out-of-stock items, nearly expired item at store and informed the superior. Record the items that failed to supply to the sub-location and act accordingly. 5. Ensure proper scheduling, record keeping, and inventory control as per SOP and departmental policies. 6. Ensure that goods received from vendors are correct and in good condition. Immediately report to superior when there is a difference between purchase and receipt of goods, shortage or damage goods received. 7. Ensure all items are documented in the stock card and on HIS. Participates in inventory management for the store and sub-location and responsible to arrange stock returning to the vendor. 8. Manage inventory effectively. All stock received must be properly organized at all time and ensure storage of goods follow First in First Out (FIFO) method. 9. Ensure all stock available and can be supplied to sub-location as requested. Immediately notify superior for out of stock items in the store especially for life saving / emergency trolley items. 10. Actively to find alternative for out of stock items such as issue PO for life saving item, loan stock from vendor or other hospital to avoid short supply to the sub location. 11. Prepare and follow up on the purchase order sent to the vendor. 12. Involved in the Unit performance by actively check on the stock acknowledgment by Sub-Location, checking on the issue item and loan stock (Month End Listing). 13. Performing Monthly Stock Take to minimize discrepancies between the physical stock with the system balance as instructed by Superior. Carry out regular Stock Take. 14. Ensure inventory is accurate and reports inaccuracies in inventory if any. 15. Actively check and flag all nearly expired items in the store. Prepare the necessarily document when the item has expired. 16. To check and review documents of expired/damaged items received from sub location for disposal and submit to HOU/HOD. 17. Rearrange stock return inter department and inter hospital as instructed by superior. 18. Ensure all documents are completed to be submitted to Finance Department for payment purposes. To update and submit all problematic documents to superior. 19. Receive and respond to all telephone inquiries from internal and external customers regarding materials and stock orders. 20. Coordinates with superiors and all employees to achieve optimum inventory levels at the location. 21. Able to work overtime or when required by a superior. 22. Monitor the condition and all equipment used in the store and reports if there is any problems or potential problems to the respective department. Obtains assistance from superior as needed. 23. Monitor and record room and fridge temperature in the form on daily basis. To filing all the completed report on monthly basis. 24. Participate in the staff development program and conduct an annual performance review. Participate in all departmental activities including inventory, innovation, and facilitation of work processes in accordance with policies and procedures. Participate in company improvement activities. 25. Comply with company policies, rules, and regulations. 26. Maintaining company confidentiality. 27. Store associates review all store inventory records for accuracy. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM2,940.00 per month Benefits:
