Job Description

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to)

1. To transfer scheduled waste material from DS back yard at 0800am and 7pm from Monday to Saturday (Sunday if required).

2. To record down the details of the transferred materials into the SW movement checklist.

3. To check and ensure that all scheduled waste (SW) material stacked on the pallet has the approved SW sticker. Date and weight must be displayed clearly on the approved sticker.

4. To conduct forklift routine visual inspection (daily/weekly)

5. To ensure that all the Hydrant Pillar and Hydrant Hose Cabinet is not blocked by the overgrown vegetation along the factory parameter.

6. Perform weekly and monthly EHS equipment inspection

7. To ensure good housekeeping at the Fire pump house, Bio waste house and Scheduled waste area.

8. To record observation inside the housekeeping checklist

9. To assist EHS technician in performing the weekly lift inspection check

10. To assist EHS personnel in the pest control coordination job

11. To ensure that all the fire wet riser points (to confirm the term used) is not blocked by the overgrown vegetation along the factory parameter.

12. To conduct forklift routine visual inspection (daily/weekly)

13. To assist LEV monitoring by EHS personnel.

14. Perform monthly EHS equipment inspection

15. Assist on duty EHS associates for any emergency during daily operation.

16. To inform EHS associate if the weighing device is not working for next course of action.

17. To assist EHS technician in performing the fire maintenance and services task as per schedule. E.g. to transport fire extinguisher.

18. To ensure that all the rat trap device is not being blocked by the overgrown vegetation along the factory parameter.

19. To ensure all the pest control devices are in working condition. To report if any of the devices is missing, damaged, not working to the EHS associates in charged

20. To assist lifting heavy material ex: mechanical equipment by EM/CUB team.

Any other task assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

QUALIFICATION

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.

Valid forklift operator certification as required by local regulations.

Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is advantageous.

SKILLS

Forklift Operation Skills :

Proficient in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks).

Safety Awareness

:Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation and warehouse environments.

Attention to Detail

:Ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain organized records.

Physical Fitness

:Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.

Communication Skills

:Good verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.

Problem-Solving

:Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift and respond effectively to operational challenges.
