We are looking for a physically fit and hardworking

Store Worker

to perform essential physical tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. This is a straightforward, physically demanding role focused on movement, lifting, and maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and Unloading:

Manually load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles, often involving heavy boxes and materials. Safely move merchandise and equipment between the stockroom, sales floor, and other designated areas.

Stocking and Organization:

Quickly and efficiently

stock shelves, racks, and displays

with new inventory. Organize and consolidate items in the backroom, ensuring clear aisles and safe stacking practices. Prepare, wrap, and stage items for returns or outgoing shipments.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Perform

general custodial duties

to maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and clearing debris. Break down and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and other packaging materials. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.

General Support:

Assist skilled trades workers or other employees with basic tasks as directed by management. Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements

Physical Stamina:

Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks for the entire shift, including

frequent heavy liftin

, bending, stooping, and standing.

Reliability:

Must be highly

punctual and dependable

. This role requires consistent attendance.

Work Ethic:

A strong desire to work hard and complete tasks quickly and efficiently.

Safety Awareness:

Understands and adheres to basic workplace safety rules. No formal education is required; previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or labor position is a plus but not necessary.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate to heavy objects on a continuous basis. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Comfort working in various temperature conditions (e.g., in a receiving dock or cold storage, if applicable).
