Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for handling construction materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites. This role is crucial in supporting smooth site operations and inventory management. A valid Goods Driving License (GDL) is required.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment. Safely store and organize construction materials in the warehouse and yard. Pick, pack, and prepare materials and equipment for delivery to project sites. Safely deliver materials, tools, and small machinery to various construction sites using company vehicles (GDL required). Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock counts. Track usage and return of tools and equipment from construction sites. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided, if required). Ensure warehouse, yard, and company vehicles are clean, safe, and organized. Adhere to company safety policies and standard operating procedures. Assist with minor repairs or maintenance of tools and equipment, where applicable. Perform other warehouse or site support duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Project Manager.

Requirements

Minimum SPM or equivalent; experience in construction material handling is an advantage. Valid

Goods Driving License (GDL)

-- mandatory. Physically fit and capable of handling heavy construction materials. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and deliveries. Able to work independently and in coordination with project teams. Willing to travel to different project sites and work flexible hours, if required. Basic computer literacy is an advantage (for stock records).

Preferred Skills

Experience in a construction warehouse or material yard. Valid forklift driving license (if applicable). Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,850.00 per month
