Job Description

1. STOCK MANAGEMENT

Receive, check, and record all incoming and outgoing stock. Ensure all items are properly arranged, labelled, and easy to locate. Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, or monthly as required). Monitor expiry dates and ensure the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is followed.

2. STORAGE & ORGANIZATION

Store and arrange all goods according to category, type, or barcode. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment. Safeguard all materials from damage, loss, or theft.

3. DISPATCH & DELIVERY

Prepare and issue goods according to internal department requests or customer orders. Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary. Prepare delivery documents such as Delivery Order (DO) and Goods Received Note (GRN).

4. RECORDS & REPORTING

Update the inventory system (manual or computerized) whenever stock is received or issued. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data is up to date. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports to the supervisor or manager.

5. COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION

Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments for stock-related matters. Report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately to the supervisor. Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth stock operations.

6. SAFETY & MAINTENANCE

Follow all workplace safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOP). Handle all store equipment properly and ensure they are well maintained. Keep the store area hazard-free and report any safety issues promptly.
