Job Description

Responsibilities: Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive incoming materials and verify their accuracy and condition.
• Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
• Ensure all received items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.

Storage and Inventory Control:

• Maintain an organized and tidy storage area.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with records.

Security and Safety:

• Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials if applicable.
• Secure the storage area to prevent unauthorized access or theft.

Quality Control:

• Ensure materials are stored in a manner that preserves their quality and prevents damage.
• Report any quality issues to the supervisor.

Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, issuances, returns, and adjustments.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of storage equipment, such as shelves, pallets, forklifts, and other tools used in the storage area.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Waste and Disposal:

• Manage the disposal of obsolete, damaged, or expired inventory in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least secondary school
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia or English
• With forklift license will be an advantage (Training will be provided if no experiences)
• Able to work in a team and independently, responsible and willing to learn
• Possess own transport will be an advantage
• Able to work in hot environment and physically fit
